New MW calculation

Due to the new and advanced purification procedures introduced at TAG Copenhagen we have decided to change the MW calculations on our analytical reports.

For many years it has been a standard practice to use the MW of the oligo containing Ammonium Salt. However over the last years the purification of the final products have been optimised at TAG Copenhagen in order to remove both failure sequences and residues of salt.

Since we now have removed the salt from the final product it makes no longer sense to use the MW of the oligo containing Ammonium Salt. Therefore, at TAG Copenhagen we now change to the MW of the pure oligo in all our calculations.

From now on we use the following calculation for the MW:

MW = (nA*313.2+nC*289.2+nG*329.2+nT*304.2)-62
