The 96-Multi instrument is a fast high trough-put synthesiser optimised for small scale DNA synthesis of primer length oligonuclotides up to 50 bases.
New specifications for the 2003 model:
- Synthesise longer oligos - up to 50 bases!
- Up to 10 bottle positions for 90ml amidite bottles. Allows you to synthesise DNA/LNA, DNA/RNA or other modifications
- More compact design - and yet even more easy to operate and to maintain.
- High coupling yields even in humid environments
Special Features:
- Synthesise as many as 768 primers in only 24 hours.
- Cost effective. The total reagent consumption is approx 1 ml for each coupling cycle.
- The total cost of each coupling cycle is now only US$ 0.10
- All reagents are of standard types.
The design of the 96-Multi Instrument includes:
- Six 90-ml phosphor amidite bottle positions as standard. New Now up to 10 amidite bottles as an option.
- 450 ml reservoirs for DCI (or TET), Cap A, Cap B and Ox. The instrument has a 2,5 ltr reservoir for Acetonitrile and TCA.
Handling of the instrument includes:
- No flushing of lines during synthesis
- No use of expensive columns - simply supply the support resin to the reaction plate. Two reaction plates will be provided together with the instrument which will allow you to load one plate while the other is running on the instrument. Time between two runs of 96 oligos can be as little as 5 minutes.
- User friendly operation
- All 96 oligos are synthesised in parallel and the final product is ready for post synthesis treatment in a 96 well format.
- Your choise to control the instrument by The Sequentia Software (optional) or you can easily set up your own production software to control the synthesiser. TAGC will provide the communication protecol free of charge if needed.
Special Technical Features:
