TAG Copenhagen is an innovative DNA synthesis provider. From the very day TAG Copenhagen was established in 1996 the main focus of the entire organisation has been DNA synthesis. This dedicated focus of the entire organisation on this single field has resulted in several innovative developments. These developments have secured TAG Copenhagen a leading position on the market in Scandinavia and a noticeable position in the UK and in the Far East region.

 

All innovations are carried out by the subsidiary TAGC ApS a company incorporated in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

The innovations have been carried out in 3 parallel tracks:

  • A high through-put DNA synthesis instrument
  • A comprehensive software (Sequentia) to control the entire operation
  • Automatic post synthesis procedures using robots

 

All 3 parallel tracks are under continuous improvement. The latest improvements are:

  • Synthesiser is now optimised for parallel synthesis of long oligos
  • Sequentia can export data to MALDI-TOF equipment
  • Sequentia makes automatic order confirmation by e-mail
  • Automatic Reverse Phase post synthesis purification gives a minimum of 2 OD in final yield for a synthesis in only 10nmol

 

TAG Copenhagen has used own technology as the core technology in all synthesis facilities in Denmark, the UK and in Singapore.

 

TAG Copenhagen has provided synthesis technology to several leading providers of DNA synthesis around the world.
